Serra Hotel!!! You made it work!!! Tks Ken, Oh, Happy 4th of July, glad you are working on a holiday!!!! You made my holiday, where did I miss the instruction that said I had to ask for my web name to work as a url connection. I assumed that was automatic? Maybe that needs to be in BIG PRINT for us slow people!! Sorry your boat is stuck, your missing the best part of the season, but so are we in STL. The Corp of Eng. has the MS River closed to recreational boats till the flood water goes down. Tks again, NOW I really love your site!!! Patty & Gary | Cranmer, Gary |

Gary: My boat is still stuck in Costa Rica, but should load aboard a freighter for shipping north sometime in the next couple of weeks.
As to your URL... This is the first I've heard that you wanted the URL "planegone.talkspot.com" .. I set it up for you.
Thanks! - Ken W

Last time you answered a email of mine you were in Mexico, and I was whishing I was there. Still am, the river is flooded here in STL. | Cranmer, Gary |

Yes... the new system still gives you the website address: myname.talkspot.com
Feel free to build a site under the new system just to see what happens. Building sites is free, and you may use the site you build, or delete it, as you deem appropriate.
If you would prefer to have your own website name, such as www.myname.com, you can do this and even have your own email, such as: me@myname.com .. but, to do this requires the paid subscription. For the vast majority of people the free system is adequate, and they don't need their own domain name.

| The people I've talked to with the old system say they can type "name.talkspot.com" and get refered to their url. Does the new system do that? Or do I have to pay for a subscription? | Cranmer, Gary |

Can you give a bit more detail as to what you are asking. My apologies, but I don't understand.
On the new system, if you have a blog, you can certainly get to it by just entering the URL for the website. Have you tried? If so, and it isn't working, give me the URL for your site and I'll give it a try -- but, it should work, no problem.

As embarassing as this is to say, I'll be completely honest...
When I added this bulletin board for the new system, subscribing to it completely slipped my mind! I had subscribed to the older bulletin board years ago and just "assumed" I would receive emails for this board, as well. Because I was never alerted to this board, I never visited it and never answered. My most sincere apologies!
I have now subscribed to this board and will answer your questions...
*whoops!*

| I see why most people like the old system, it appears that some one in Adminastion actuallly took the time to answer the old system. ?Why not the new one? | Cranmer, Gary |

| I have talked to members of the old system and they can access their site with www,webname.talkspot.com . Does this new blog system allow me to do that? If yes, how? Is the only access I have is useing the entire url? | Cranmer, Gary |
