Bulletin Board >> How Do I? >> Embed a Google Map in a web page? |

Hi Joe,
My first recommendation would be to simply use the new system and link to it from your site. It could be integrated fairly easily and largely seamlessly... With that, you can do all you want to do, and more. You can draw lines on the map, based on dates, caption each location, etc... It's pretty cool! This would be my recommendation...
Build a Boating Website Here
All that aside, I don't think this is the information you're looking for...
I'm going to assume you don't know about HTML mode. That would be the most obvious answer and would explain how you were able to do it once, but maybe not the second time....
When you're in the editor mode of your page (after clicking the pencil), in the bottom-left corner of the editor are two small greater than and less than signs, looking like this:
Clicking this little button will toggle the editor into HTML(instead of edit or preview) mode, at which point, you may copy and paste the Google code into it. Then, when you press "Submit", it "should' work.
I don't know if two will work on the same page, although, I don't see why they wouldn't.
Let me know if NOT being in HTML mode was the problem. If it wasn't, tell me a little more about the steps leading up to the results being different than anticipated and I'll do what I can to help!
Thanks!

Previously I was successful in embedding a Google Map in my talkspot web page, but for the life of me I can't figure out how I did it. Here is a link to the page with the image:
http://www.alanui.talkspot.com/aspx/templates/blank.aspx/msgid/460168
If you go down a bit you will see the google map, complete with the ability to drag and zoom. I've tried to re-create this on another part of the web page without luck. I've tried inserting a code snipet and linking to an object that called the url, again, with out luck. Here is the code the Google provides as the "link to" url:
<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=31.090574,-76.728516&spn=15.209597,20.478516&t=h&z=5&output=embed&s=AARTsJpnOA3ioEtcI9rx_v7gyZqlolGTYw"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=31.090574,-76.728516&spn=15.209597,20.478516&t=h&z=5&source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>
Can anyone tell me how to get this embeded in the web page so it's viewable and actionable to someone who wants to click on the map and interact with it from inside talkspot?
Thanks a bunch,
